BMBA SHOOT-A-THON TO BE LAUNCHED NEXT WEEK.

BMBA Basketball Academy | Junior Basketball Training Melbourne

I often am asked whether there is anything parents can do to help out with our efforts to establish the BMBA as a serious basketball program at Stonnington Sports Centre. From next week, the answer to that question will be an EMPHATIC “YES”!

Next week, we will be launching our Shoot-a-thon fundraiser. This is a simple fundraiser to conduct and can raise some serious dollars for our efforts.  We now have the participant numbers to make a shoot-a-thon feasible.

Through the shoot-a-thon, we ask every junior family to secure a minimum of ten sponsors to donate one dollar for every free throw their child makes out of 100 free throws. This is a simple and fun way to raise funds, and every participant and their family can be involved. Over the week ending Sunday, the 14th of June, instead of training, we will be having the kids and any willing parent shoot 100 free throws. All results will be recorded, and then our BMBA participants can take these results to their sponsors to recoup those donations.

From there, we will be handing out prizes for the following:

The even better news is that the BMBA  has been servicing hundreds of local businesses over the past six months with free feature articles in our online publication, The Community Forum Online Newspaper. This will provide a valuable source of potential sponsors for participants. So for some great fun, some great prizes and a great way to support the BMBA in a straightforward and simple way, get behind the BMBA shoo-a-thon from next week when each family will receive their shoot-a-thon kits via their email addresses. KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR INBOX.
