To increase BMBA membership to 3,500 in 3 years’ time.

Bob to move into a General Managers role focusing on sponsorships, marketing and development programs for the BMBA and OBA.

Product/Services

The BMBA will establish its services to its members based on best business practices. These services must be one of excellence that enable the provision of competitions to all its members of all standards and age groups. These competitions are to be conducted in a well-coached and enjoyable environment for all members. The BMBA also intends to develop an elite representative program to rival any in Melbourne for excellence and results.

Price

Refer to our Financials Spreadsheet under “Sales Forecast” for cash flow projections and estimated budgets. The goal of the BMBA is to provide prices that are competitive with our rival Associations that cater for a wide demographic that will produce enough services to provide its product base mentioned above.

Distribution

The Association will deliver its services from current school stadiums while looking to find venues for a new facility. These could be developed from established modern warehouses or through a purpose-built stadium built from the ground up. The BMBA also intends to deliver its product via school visits, clinics and introductory programs conducted at Primary Schools.

Promotion

Initially, all promotions and marketing will be done via primary and secondary schools. Once revenues permit, a more aggressive strategy of newspaper advertising, social media advertising and mail drops will be undertaken. An effort will also be made to promote our competitions to sporting clubs outside of basketball for off-season fitness alternatives.

Bob has also published his own online newspaper business that promotes local businesses, community organisations and sports clubs. It’s Bob’s intention to have this online paper cover the South Eastern suburbs before a stadium is acquired, through this Bob will also be promoting his programs and any new venue.
