The BMBA has secured court allocation space at the state-of-the-art Stonnington Sports Center. We can now start establishing junior competitions at the Margaret Connellan Stadium which is a part of the Stonnington Sports Centre.

After eight years this gives us a fantastic opportunity to get the Oakleigh Basketball Association back up on its feet where we can develop junior competitions, get our kids back on the rep courts and our Open Age teams back in the BIG V.

Councils though don’t give these sorts of facilities for free and as we transition to a full house capacity costs will be a challenge. So I am reaching out to all my former juniors, their parents and their families to once again help us establish once more the best basketball program in Melbourne and have started a GoFundMe campaign to help us achieve this.

The BMBA has also been running FREE school clinics for he past two years and more. This has seen the BMBA visit over twenty schools and conducted FREE clinics for over 5,000 boys and girls across Eastern and  South Eastern Melbourne. Our ambition is to continue to conduct these clinics, but they also require us to raise fund to do so.
