Warriors Knights Make Grand Final

Our Under 12 Warrior Knights boys team has made their second consecutive Grand Final with an impressive 27-8 win in their semi-final.

Playing against a much bigger Parkdale Pacers opponent, our boys smothered them with a great full-court defence and then some great teamwork on the offensive end. Our boys have been complimented all season by opposition coaches for how well they play as a team and their passing game. This semi-final was no exception with the boys continuously teaming up to provide each other with scoring opportunities.

This was borne out by the spread of the boys scoring with everybody getting in on the act. Lachlan Fuller led the scoring with 9 points, after that though we had four boys all with four points in Seth Kasturriratna, Jordan Tiet, Elijah Salim and Ethan Xie. Tom Byrne chipped in with two points while Nico Meyer had some great defensive plays.

The boys now take on the Mordy Wildcats in the Grand Final who they defeated comfortably the last time they met. Finals are a different proposition though and the boys will have to be switched on to come away with the good next week.
