Westall PS Students Special Offer

The BMBA is pleased to offer students from Westall Primary School “FREE” access to our fantastic Basketball Plus and Kids First basketball training programs held at Wellington Secondary College on Tuesday evenings after school and at McKinnon PS on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. This applies to all the remaining sessions for the remainder of term three, which is three in total.

Our Basketball Plus sessions are conducted for boys and girls who’ve played the game before, are currently playing the game, or display above average potential and we assess and more suited to this training. We have two sessions at Wellington Secondary College on Tuesdays after school. Our first session is held  between 5:00pm and 6:30pm and our second session is held between 6:30pm and 8:00pm in the school’s indoor gym.

At McKinnon Primary School, we hold our Basketball Plus sessions on Fridays between 6:30pm and 8:00pm and Sundays between 2:30pm and 4:00pm.

Our Kids First sessions are designed for younger players or players who have just started out in the sport. The emphasis is on learning basic skills and the rules of the game, while having plenty of fun doing so. At Wellington Secondary College we conduct these sessions between 5:30pm and 6:30pm at Wellington Secondary College.

At McKinnon Primary School we conduct Kids First sessions on Fridays between 6:30pm and 7:30pm and on Sundays between 3:00pm and 4:00pm.

If you are not sure which session to attend, just come to either of them and our coaching staff can make assessments and recommendations.

It’s important you register your son/daughter before attending, so that we have your details, your covered by our Public Liability and we can ensure we are catered properly for coaches. Click on the button below to register your child.

To access the gym at Wellington Secondary College you park on Singleton Drive and enter the school via the pedestrian gate. You walk into the foyer and the gym doors are on your left (refer to the diagram below.) 

To access the gym at McKinnon Primary School you park on Tucker Road and enter the school via the pedestrian gate. The entrance to the gym is directly on your right as you enter school grounds (refer to the diagram below.)

This is a great opportunity for your child to receive elite level coaching that they wouldn’t normally receive. We would love to see you there!

We have teams looking for extra players as we speak!

  • Our U10 Girls (Y.O.B. – 2014, 2015) need one more player
  • Our U12(1) Boys  (Y.O.B. – 2014, 2015)need at least one more player
  • Our U12(2) Boys (Y.O.B. – 2014, 2015)needs two more players and
  • Our U18 Boys (Y.O.B. – 2006, 2007)need two more players
Our teams play at the Southern Basketball Association in Cheltenham. Our U10 Girls play on Thursday evening/nights after school. Our U12 Boys team play on Saturday morning to early afternoon and our U18 Boys play on Sunday afternoons from 12:00pm onwards.
