This page is for parents to register their child to play with a BMBA Templar Warriors team in the Southern Basketball Associations Autumn Domestic season, which will commence at the start of term one 2024. The link is to express your interest in having your son/daughter o join a BMBA team and training.

NOTE: We do grade our teams so we would need all new players to attend a training/registration session BEFORE registering with the Southern Basketball Association. You can register at any time via the BMBA registration button on these pages or via our online form below.

Where there is interest generated for further teams that our current teams in more age groups or the same age groups we would gladly enter more teams. We also would be happy to look to enter teams through other Associations, where player numbers allow this.

The BMBA arrange coaches and training for all BMBA teams.

About the Southern Basketball Association

The Southern Basketball Association is located in Tulip Street Cheltenham where it’s main stadium is located. This is currently a four court stadium but will soon have four more courts added to it. You can see their website by CLICKING HERE.

Games are played at the Association’s main stadium at Tulip street and at satellite courts at Mentone Girls Secondary College, Parkdale Secondary College and at Mentone Grammar. The Association has over ten domestic clubs within it’s membership and runs a plethora of junior domestic competitions.

The Templar Warriors are looking to field as many boys and girls teams as possible for the upcoming Autumn season which commences at the start of Term One 2024.

BMBA Fees

BMBA fees are $250.00 per term for our “Basketball Plus” training programs. We expect all players within our teams to participate in those training programs. As a season covers two terms we charge $500.00 for the season. The only other cost is for a uniform outlined below. We do not instigate a cost for playing matches and as far as we know we are the only basketball club/program that doesn’t do this.

BMBA Uniform Kit

All our players are required to purchase a uniform kits which is show below. This kit includes shorts, tops and polo and costs at the moment $140.00.
